2,000 Young Runners Compete

(HGO) - On the morning of July 6, there was a 1.1 km race for children aged 9 to 11 and a 2.4 km race for teenagers aged 12 to 15. A total of 2,000 young runners participated.

This event marked the kickoff of the "Vietcombank Mekong Delta" Hau Giang. The races were held at Hoa Binh Square in Vi Thanh City.

The 1.1 km race started at 7:15 am.

The 2.4 km race started at 7:30 am.

At the end, the organizers awarded commemorative medals to the runners and presented prizes to the top 3 boys and top 3 girls finishers in each distance category.

The children's race has been held since 2022.

The "Vietcombank Mekong Delta" Hau Giang event in 2024 featured over 10,000 runners.

The 5 km, 10 km, 21 km, and 42 km races will commence on the morning of July 7.
